Green Heart Kids is a caring, nurturing and fun after school care for kids aged 4 to 12. We’re located in a home just two blocks away from Meadow Park Elementary School in Irvine, where we can pick your child up after class.

Your kids will relax and enjoy screen-free fun together through creative activities and group play. They will explore the outdoors here in our backyard of Woodbridge. We encourage curiosity and embrace hands-on learning to build a love for art and nature that can last a lifetime.

Meet Rebeca:

I’m Rebeca, Green Heart Kids lead teacher and mom of 2. I have a degree in Child Development and 15 years of professional experience helping parents and kids.

I’m originally from Costa Rica and was lucky to have a childhood surrounded by nature and neighborhood playmates of all ages. Our favorite expression is “Pura Vida,” which means “pure life” or relaxed and happy living.

As a mom, I’m concerned that kids’ lives are becoming too filled with screens and overly planned structure, so kids lose out on chances to develop both creativity and social skills. I designed my after school care program to give others the same care and opportunities I want for my own children.

Childhood is so precious and I want kids to fully enjoy being kids again. I look forward to hearing more about your child and sharing how we can help.
